  • The Commercial Pacific Cable Company laid the first Pacific telegraph cable, from San Francisco to Honolulu. on this date in 1902
  • It was on this date in 1903, that The Wright brothers made their first attempt to fly with the Wright Flyer at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.
