The Last Airbender teaser trailer

I still haven’t figured out if this is going to blow up or just bomb. I Netflix’d the series earlier this year and I think Avatar: The Last Airbender was the best anime series to come to the U.S. in this decade. Based on this trailer, it looks like the tone of the movie is about 180 degrees apart from the series. The theatrical release is still another year away, so anything could happen. Hope this doesn’t become the last nail in Shaymalan’s career.
