The Bug. The indescribable gadget building block.
Bug Labs – The open building block of gadgets via Ron Staton
A new gadget is floating to the top of the quagmire from CES. The Bug, is a Linux driven gadget with pluggable modules that build upon the Bug in a similar fashion to Lego blocks. For example a camera and a motion sensor can be plugged in to make a speed trap…I mean a security monitoring device. Well, you get the idea.
They are now selling the device to developers and telling everyone else to wait a while because there are no apps for the modules yet. But some of the upcoming add-ons are worth noting. Look at the right hand side of the page for products coming out in Q2. There’s touch-screen, mini-QWERTY keyboard, TELEPORTER, and a audio jack.
Someone’s got to get me a review unit.

CCT Special: Lordy Lordy Kreg is 100111
Yea! I survived another year! I was reminded that I am 39 today, even though that is 47 octal, it is only 27 in hex. I will just keep repeating that last part to myself.
Well, it was a fantastic one at that. I want to thank all of you can called in for this, and those of you that have made the last year so much fun.
If you don’t hear your message on this, don’t worry, we have some that made it to the voice mail show coming up next week.

The only thing that bothers me about this video is that the guy builds enough Tetris pieces to fill the board, but he plays like a n00b and then cheats in the middle.
This tech job’s paycheck is a steal via Mixx
Straight from the movie Office Space, this guy was receiving a paycheck for 5 years without actually being employed by the company. The story doesn’t end as well as the movie does.
