Media Corner

  • Technorama gets renewed!
    • Undisclosed Hollywood sources have revealed that the popular geek comedy podcast “Technorama” has been renewed for the 2016 season scheduled to air May 4, 2016. The Parsec award winning podcast has been delivering an odd sense of news about tech, science, sci-fi and all things geek since May 2005. While the show has evolved over the nearly 500 episodes, the hosts Chuck Tomasi and Kreg Steppe have remained constant. Tomasi commented “It’s an honor to have so many loyal listeners after all this time and we welcome those who are listening to us for the first time. Wait until you see what we’ve got planned for the new season!” When asked what the best way to support the show is, Steppe replied “If you’ve got money, visit our Patreon page – if not, how about a review on iTunes? Is that still a thing?

Shout to one of our loyal listeners who has just published a new book.

The book is called ‘Reaper’ by Ivan Navi and it’s available on Amazon’s Kindle store. It’s a fantasy/adventure novel about grim reapers, magic and oddly enough about life.
Here’s the description: Throughout cultures around the world there are figures that deliver the newly dead to the afterlife. They go by many names, Angels of Death, Psychopomps, Guides to the Afterlife, the list goes on. However, today we know them as reapers. Some, such as Anubis, Dullahan, Xolotl, and Valkyrie are figures of legend, and then there is Pax. Pax is a reaper not at all satisfied with his life. He went about his duties as anyone in his position would until he was met with special orders from on high. Now charged to inhabit the world of the living as a human in order to better understand those he reaps, he finds himself embroiled in a centuries old plan with someone else’s life on the line.
Find him on Twitter @storytellernavi. He will be giving out two copies of his book to new followers on that, that should go live pretty soon.
