Wow..that was nostalgic. Floppies or was it floppy’s. fun convo. Go back a decade or two further. Core memory (I worked with 8k) valued at the time at $8,000. Used in a Digital Instruments PDP8. How about the IBM 2 meg hard drive the size of small refrigerators. I remember the disks were about 15″ in dia. and had 4 platters and you could touch em through the holes in the disk holder thingy.
