If you were left wanting a little more Galactica in your life, maybe you should check this out. This is the web series that was born out of the pilot that was shot for the Syfy channel that they ultimately passed on. Instead of a TV series, they opted for a 10 episode web series and here it is.
I just watched Episode 1 & 2 (with #3 coming on 11/16) and I like what I see. The acting is good, and the effects are top notch especially for a web series. Also I must add that being a space ship nerd, seeing some space action with the vipers and old school Cylon ships was great.

ERNEST CLINE has worked as a short-order cook, fish gutter, plasma donor, elitist video store clerk, and tech support drone. Saw this short sci-fi film pimped on the Film Riot podcast. It’s so amazing, that I could only hope that this director gets to make big budget films someday. The visual effects and production quality are indistinguishable from a Hollywood film. The storytelling without words drew me in, and I watched the whole thing. This is only significant because I’m normally a guy that will play videos on a 2nd monitor at double speed just to listen to a video. Ordinarily I ignore the video and I listen to the dialogue.
