What to do with 66,000 business cards

What to do with 66,000 business cards via Digg

Why, build a level three Menger Sponge, of course! What the heck is a Menger Sponge?

It’s a cube with the center of each face removed. And like other building blocks, individual Sponges can be clustered and built into larger ones. This one is 150 lbs and uses no glue or anthing other than the business cards to hold its shape.

35,000 piece LEGO desk

LEGO desk via Digg

This is what happens when an employer is willing to furnish ANY kind of desk for an employee. 35,000 pieces and 7 pounds of glue.

Part wall / Part Couch via Digg

One more piece of oddball furniture to round out the week. It’s like an alcove in a wall, but it’s designed to be a couch instead of a rectangular hole in the wall.

7 Legged Lamb born in New Zealand via Digg

Quite a shame, really. The lamb was born with seven legs, making it a polydactyl. However it was missing part of its bowel and had to be euthanized.

Breathe new life into your classic NES console

Breathe new life into your classic NES console via Digg

Still got an original NES hanging around the house? You could make a lunch box, belt buckle or even guitar out of it.

Pirates Vs Ninja – Who will Win? via Digg

A noble attempt to rationally settle the Pirates vs. Ninjas debate. However, the conclusion is totally predictable.

6 Things You Must Do Before You Die: Geek Edition via Digg

Well, got two down so far. Not sure if I’ll ever go to Japan to check out Akihabara. But I did find a place kinda similar to it in Seoul. Enormous, but kind of repetitive.

First Flying Car About to Take Off Commercially

World’s First Flying Car Enters Production via Digg

The civilian version is limited to a height of 10 feet to avoid FAA regulations. The price could be as low as $90k. But really…the sky’s the limit. Alright. I promise, no more puns.

Shark with webbed feet via Digg

Another evolutionary cross-breed has shown up on the Interweb. It looks like it was just a baby shark when it was caught. So it doesn’t look like this critter had a chance to jump out of the water and run down it’s prey. Is it just my imagination or was that movie already made? No matter, Sigler will get to it, probably.
