While out in California for the Podcast and New Media Expo, Chuck and I caught up with Dean Haglund. Well, we tracked him down and drug him to our Hotel Room for an interview.
Most of you may know Dean from his role of Langley from the X-Files, but we find out in this interview that there is more to him than most know.

The Cutting Edge: Bicycle Lawnmowing via Digg
I can’t for the life of me decide if these are just toys or a serious cry for help. Especially those bikes that have the blades mounted in place of the front wheel. I can just picture some kid playing steamroller with this thing.

Knight Rider to Ride Again via /.
No Hoff, but same formula. Is anyone else getting a sense of deja vu what with BSG going into its final “season” this January? Will someone please promise me that 80’s TV will not come back to life? No wait, Bionic Woman and Quantum Leap are already here…
You know, there was a long running joke that Japanese pop culture was 20 years behind the U.S. How did we end up regurgitating all of this stuff again?

November 1, 2007 marks the 50th anniversary of the Mackinac Bridge which connects the upper and lower peninsulas of Michigan (US). Being Michigan born and raised, I’ve always had a special geek fascination with the “Big Mac”. This special episode of Technorama is a combination of interview and documentary about the bridge. The interview is with Kim Nowack, Chief Engineer for the Mackinac Bridge Authority. Listen and learn about the history of the bridge and get some inside information from the woman who cares for one of the longest spans in the world.

Hey Guys! We’ve made our way from San Francisco all the way down to Ontario, California, but we didn’t leave before having a ball there. On Tuesday, September 25th, we met up with Martin Mckeay and Tom Pose at the 21st amendment. Martin we had met previously at the Podcast and Portable Media Expo, and Tom was a pleasure to meet for the first time.
A little while later that night Thomas Hawk and some other photographers that hang out over at Zooomr met up with us to go out on a photowalk. That was a lot o fun! We walked and shot pictures for quite a while. I got to see a side of San Francisco that I hadn’t seen before which is great, and what I think photography is all about. Seeing things from a different perspective. You can view my pictures here, and the groups photos here.
Anyway, Tonight is the live show! (Wish us luck) at the Marriott in Ontario, California! See you there, hopefully.
