You *can* do your own songs for GuitarHero – there are a couple of free guitar hero clones too. Take a look at http://www.scorehero.com/ for the editor or freetar.net/forums for the free guitarhero. I’ve not tried either of these (or played guitar hero) I’m waiting to get the chance to play it before I purchase it.
