Join me for another soundseeing tour. This time we go to the Saturday morning Farmer’s Market in downtown Appleton. I talk to a few people would were willing to talk. Of course, none of them knew they were being recorded, although I think one lady was getting wise to me.

The Richard Vobes Radio Show #219 for Saturday August 27, 2005 is in the can, or as Vobes would say “Done and dusted”. It took me nearly all week to get this pieced together. Richard provided me with one major segment and several sweepers and some of the background music to his segments, but it was to me to figure out the rest.
I have to say it was a lot of fun, but a lot of work. I donned a bald headpiece to immitate the Vobes and special thanks to Jeff Mahoney who patched my webcam images to Richard’s site for the duration of the show and some afterwards. There was lots of traffic in the chat room as many friendly names were present and had a good time.
Unfortunately I cannot provide the link directly to the show since Richard operates under the “podshare” scheme. He provides new shows to members ($20/year) and non-paid members get them about a week later. Check his site about Labor Day for show #219 or if you’re in a hurry, listen, and pay if you enjoy Richard’s content.
Thank you for this rare, but extremely enjoyable opportunity Richard!

In a strange twisted thought I thought it would be fun to interview the Podcast Interview King himself… Rob from Podcast411.
Now keep in mind, when I started doing interviews with other podcasters in late April, I had no idea podcast411 was out there. It was a few weeks later that I realized we had a strong similarity between our formats (save the Tony Kahn interview.)
We talked for nearly an hour and a half. Some of that went to his interview of me (being released later today on his site/feed), some of it went to this interview, and some was left on the cutting room floor for various reasons.
Between the two interviews, you’ll get the idea of how it went. Surprisingly enough, I didn’t know how big of a geek Rob actually is!

Take a soundseeing tour at Laughing Whitefish Falls in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. We were on a Letterbox Tour to find a hidden treasure.
In the midst of exploring, we had a bit of an emergency. In the end, we found what we were looking for. I hope you enjoy this walk in the woods.
