Sir Patrick Stewart

Well, well, well. Our favorite captain of the U.S.S. Enterprise has been knighted by Queen Elizabeth II. And yes, Sir Patrick is our favorite because that other captain is afraid of going into space.

    Of course, the newspapers (and the BBC) referred to Sir Pratrick as “the Star Trek actor” – and then mentioned that he told of how he was turned down for several roles because the producer / director “did not want Jean-Luc Picard”.

    I’m guessing he wasn’t reading the papers yesterday. :)
